Nutrition Day

Stacey, the nurse, and BVRMC put together a fun nutrition day for us a few weeks ago.  We talked about the food groups and the importance of getting proper servings of each group.  We also got to taste several types of apples and decided that most of our classmates liked Pink Lady apples the best!  We then got to do a fun (an exhausting) obstacle course in the gym.  Here are a few highlights of the day.

Decorating Christmas Cookies at the Newell Good Samaritan Center

Well, I told you I was behind! I found some pictures of the kids decorating cookies at the Newell Good Samaritan Center at Christmas time! They invited us out to decorate cookies for the residents - and sample one for ourselves too! As you can see, a good time was had by all!

Grandparent's Day photos

We had a great turn-out for Grandparent's Day. Thank you, everyone, for coming to visit our classroom. The kids were very excited to give you the special book and perform the music program for you. What a special day!
